1) Upgrade bios to A04 (Store the update binary in /boot/efi or on a USB flash drive and use the F12 key during bootup to update). 2) Download linux headers and broadcom-wl driver module tarball to another computer and transfer to the XPS by usb/flashcard. I assume I need to install these in the live arch environment to give me access to the internet, then go to step 3), continue installation, and remember to install the drivers in chroot as well... I am not going to use the broadcom-wl-dkms as I don't fancy the potential hassle and don't expect to be upgrading the kernel super-often (though maybe in Arch I'll be obliged to). retropie pico-8 on 1:1 lenovo monitor take 2

 Setting up retropie for my square monitor. Problems: - flashing screen on both batocera and rteropie images. solved by editing `/boot/config.txt` to include `hdmi_group=2 hdmi_mode=9`  - add pico-8. needed to add the rpi version of the softwaree then update `/etc/emulationstation/es_systems.txt` with the following:  <system>     <name>pico8</name>     <fullname>PICO-8</fullname>     <path>/home/pi/pico-8</path>     <extension>.sh .SH</extension>     <command>/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh 0 "/home/pi/pico-8/pico8 -draw_rect 0,0,800,600 -splore "</command>     <platform>pico8</platform>     <theme>pico8</theme>   </system> getting to `-draw_rect 0,0,800,600` took a bit of trial and error and I'm still not sure it's right because the monitor is 1:1 ...

 Installling ghost locally . Warning recived during install: Upgrading Ghost involves replacing old files with the new files, and restarting the server. However, as the database, image uploads and custom themes are stored alongside Ghost in the content directory, care should be taken to only replace the necessary files as explained at http://support.ghost.org/how-to-upgrade/ . It is highly recommended that you make a backup of your data before upgrading. To backup all the data from your database, log into your Ghost install and go to /ghost/debug/. Press the export button to download a JSON file containing all of your data.
